Como, Italy — 3 nights

Known for its idyllic location on the shores of Lake Como and at the foot of the Alps, Como is one of northern Italy's most popular tourist destinations.
Take a break from the city and head to Lago di Mergozzo and Lake Orta. Discover out-of-the-way places like Antica Cava di Ornavasso and The Italian Lakes Guides. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Como: Varese (Villa e Collezione Panza, Lake Varese Bicycle Trail, &more) and Campanile di San Nicolo (in Lecco). There's more to do: discover the deep blue sea with Universal Diving School and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica di Sant'Abbondio.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Como is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Riyadh to Como is minus 2 hours. Traveling from Riyadh in November, things will get much colder in Como: highs are around 13°C and lows about 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Wed) to allow time to drive to Lugano.

Lugano is just a stone's throw from Como. In December, daytime highs in Lugano are 10°C, while nighttime lows are 0°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri) early enough to go by car to Milan.
