Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River.
Get outdoors at VinoVarlot and Cascade du Hohwald. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fort De Schoenenbourg and Temple du Donon. Wroclaw, Poland to Strasbourg is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 29°C in June, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Sat) early enough to drive to Mulhouse.

Mulhouse — 6 nights

An industrial town nicknamed "the French Manchester," Mulhouse is famous for its Peugeot factory, esteemed museums, Alsace wine, and cultural riches.
Get a sense of the local culture at Hartmannswillerkopf and Chateau Saint-Ulrich. Step out of the city life by going to Grand Ballon and Petite Camargue Alsacienne. Change things up with these side-trips from Mulhouse: Historial franco-allemand du Hartmannswillerkopf (in Wattwiller), Colmar (Grand Rue De Colmar, Manneken Pis, &more) and Chateau Giersberg (in Ribeauville).
