Alpine Capital of the World

Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
Get in touch with nature at Aiguille du Midi and Plage Municipale de Menthon Saint Bernard. Take a break from Chamonix with a short trip to Eglise Notre Dame de la Gorge in Les Contamines-Montjoie, about 56 minutes away. It doesn't end there: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports and tour the pleasant surroundings at Brevent Cable Car.

Valletta, Malta to Chamonix is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or do a combination of bus and train; or take a bus. On the 28th (Mon), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to La Salle.
