This is the lesser famous bridge in Lucerne but it’s still as beautiful at Kapelle bridge. As you walk through the bridge you’ll get the read (in the German) the story of dead on the roof of the bridge… beautiful paintings and story (do Google them to find out more 😅) and of course the view is stunning….

Another incredible medieval era bridge in Luzern. Although it is less famous than Chapel bridge, but historically it has a significant role that it has played in the past. It is another example of the glorious medieval culture and architecture. You can do a loop as you walk through this bridge cross the river and walk along the river till Chappel bridge and then cross to the same side of the river from you started. The bridge has very nicely illustrated paintings by the painter Caspar Meglinger which depicts the Dance of Death - or Danse Macabre, Totentanz in German. It is usually less crowded, so you can take your own time to walk through the bridge and admire the paintings.
