Pay tribute to one of the most renowned painters of the Spanish Renaissance at Museo del Greco. The museum boasts an extensive collection of El Greco’s pieces from the 16th and 17th centuries, demonstrating the artist’s influence on the city’s cultural development during that time. Wander the galleries to view some of El Greco’s most famous pieces, such as “The Savior” and “View of Toledo,” as well as works by other Mannerist and Baroque painters. Don’t miss the impressive series of paintings of the twelve apostles by El Greco. Carry cash with you as the museum does not accept credit cards. • I have to give this 5 stars for its rich simplicity and authenticity. The house and cellars of the museum were decorated as if to take you back in time. The artwork is another added bonus to the museum. It’s not large but still is rich with works of art. I loved it and one Can visit, study, learn and not be overly tired.
  • If you want to see something exceptional visit this museum. The art is just perfect. The garden is small, bit full of life, the overall atmosphere is just like a time machine, taking you back in time
