Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes
Admire the ornate Gothic architecture of Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. Founded by the Catholic Monarchs in the late 15th century, the monastery features an elongated nave and two side chambers forming the shape of a cross, and boasts details in both Gothic and Mudéjar styles. Walk the main hall, admiring the 30-m (100-ft) ceilings, or wander through the small, tranquil garden of the cloister. While entrance to the church is free, you must pay a small fee to enter the cloister. A visit to Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Toledo online vacation planner to plot your vacation.

This was a surprisingly beautiful stop in Toledo. The exterior is quite lovely with its Gothic details. The cloister is a nice space, especially the upper level, which has beautiful wooden ceilings...

So much history here but not presented to the non Spanish visitor. There is an arrogance with the sights in Toledo that does not endear them to the visitor. They are happy to take your money but...

Gorgeous 15th century gothic architecture! I would recommend purchasing a €12 wrist band that includes entry to all 7 biggest sights in Toledo. This building has 2 tiers however, it’s very big so I would recommend visiting it at its opening hours to avoid tourists and visitors so you can take beautiful pictures.

Excellent free audio guide, QR code available right inside the cloisters. I didn't work for a few of the commentaries, but the ones I heard were interesting an enjoyable. The cloisters and church are full of beautiful details, well worth a look.
