  • It is the best exponent of Segovian Romanesque church tower art. The large esplanade on which it which border was situated allows the observation of the front walls of the church both day and night...

  • Iglesia de San Esteban - It comes from the twelfth century, surely supported on another earlier. It lost its Romanesque apse in favor of the horrendous current head crowned with a spire. It has three naves, double atrium and two covers. Inside it is possible to hide Romanesque elements covered by the many retouches, especially the Baroque. It maintains in one of its chapels a wonderful Romanesque Christ that belonged to the neighbor and disappeared church of Santiago and that has its own legend. On the outside, the atrium maintains part of the original floor with some tombs and enough capitals in not very good conditions, others must have been replaced. It is surely the most modern among the Romanesque of the city, as can be appreciated by its richness and sculptural perfection that is not only seen in the capitals, but in the corbels and metopes of its eaves.
  • Huge tower with a great view from the city
