Explore collections of post-impressionist and early 20th-century art at Museo Sorolla. Opened in 1962, the museum is dedicated to the work of Joaquín Sorolla, a prominent Spanish painter who was known for his portraits and landscapes. Wander through the artist’s studio and home admiring some of his most famous paintings or relax in the light-filled gardens that inspired much of his work. Pick up an audio guide from the front desk to learn more about the artist’s life and the Impressionist period. The museum is free to the public on Sundays. • Former house of the impressionist painter, now transformed into a museum. It is a pleasant visit where you can see some of the original paints of Sorrolla, sculptures, furniture and potter present in the house. All these objects are exhibited within 6-8 rooms and gardens with information available to read in every room. Certainly, it is worth the visit
  • Such a charming museum. Small, which is a relief after visiting the major ones, and full of Sorolla’s light and warm paintings. After the visit one can relax in the beautiful garden. A must see.
