A wealthy family built Torre dei Lamberti in 1172, and it stands as a reminder of the many towers that once dotted Verona's skyline. The 84 m (275.6 ft) tall structure is a mix of architectural styles added over the centuries. Climb to the top for views of the old town and countryside. Listen for two sets of bells, the Rengo and Marangona, which still ring occasionally. Take the elevator to the viewing platform if the climb looks too strenuous. Torre dei Lamberti reviews
This tower can ascended either by the steps or by the lift that goes up to the bell tower. Great views on four sides. We went up in the lift and down by the stairs

Decent views but for free as opposed to 6 euros you can get a much better view from Piazzale Castel San Pietro if you walk up the stairs (not as bad as it sounds) or take the inexpensive funicular.

Nice experiance but not sure the 15 minutes up the tower was worth an hour waiting in the queue. Also had to pay an extra €1 to use the lift! This wasn't made clear before hand i was just asked if id rather take the stairs or take the lift.
I’d recommend emailing and making a reservation beforehand. The lady manning the line was nice enough to let me in 30 minutes earlier than my reserved time. If you purchase the Verona card, I’d recommend paying the extra 1 EUR for the elevator up. Climbing those stairs with a face mask was not worth the 1 EUR I saved lol. Great views up top!
