Explore Reggia Di Reale, a 17th-century palace built for Charles Emmanuel II as a base for his hunting expeditions. History had taken its toll here; the structure only opened to the public in 2007 after one of the European Union's largest cultural restoration projects. Wander through the palace's permanent exhibit, Theater of History and Magnificence, which takes you through some of the most impressive rooms. Begin in the 17th-century Hall of Diana, continue through to the Great Gallery, and then move on to the Church of St. Hubert. The accompanying soundtrack by Brian Eno and the multimedia installations on court life make this an informative and atmospheric walk. Stretch your legs in the palace's 50 hectares (123.5 acres) of gardens. You'll find cafes, restaurants and a bookshop on site. I would’ve rated this 5 stars before I went to Castello Della Mandria so it’s a good, solid 4 star rating. The difference between the two? Authenticity. Unfortunately due to the dilapidation of the...

Fabulous buildings and grounds. The grand hall surpasses the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, France. Well worth the trip and visit. One of the best stops of 10 days between Paris and Avignon France and Turin, Italy.

The lady in the entrance wasn’t speaking English at all, was rude and annoyed with us that we don’t know Italian. For the palace, the entrance of 20€ isn’t worth for what you can see inside the palace. The places that are open to the public are very few at the moment. The gardens were beautiful, totally worth to visit them from May and after cause now they weren’t totally bloom. If you have the Torino card like me it’s totally worth to go even if it’s far from Turin, cause it’s free.
