Sip offerings from the world's most storied wine country at Tenuta Torciano. Tucked into the Tuscan countryside just outside medieval San Gimignano, the winery features a cellar and aging hall. The tasting sessions expertly pair wines with local Tuscan delicacies. Beautiful grounds, but better options in the area for the price. We booked a 3pm lunch in the garden, had a great arrival at 3pm, had to wait 40minutes which was fun to explore the grounds. The tasting was suppose to be a sample 11-12 wines. We sampled 6, and had a large gap after the main meal. We were provided 3 glass to sample the wins and were asked to mix wins to save glass/reused multiple wine glasses when other tables had 6-9 glass per spot. Minimal explanation on what the wines were, which tasted good, but couldn’t navigate what was being served. Good wine, but negative tourist trap experience.

Casual wine appreciator here. Came around start of november for wine tasting and a vineyard walk. The vineyard was really beautiful with a lot of roaming animals. The weather was good so it was also nice to chill outside. The wine tasting and truffle lunch was also delicious! The wine selection was also really good for the price of the lunch. Only downside is that even with the discount, their wines are still quite expensive (40-80 euros). But if you’re only here for the experience then it’s worth it!
