I toretti, or small fountains with the head of a bull, symbolize Turin for locals and tourists alike. You won’t likely visit them all, as there are 800 spread out across the city’s public spaces. The fresh water they provide proves invaluable during hot weather. Politicians have tried to replace them with water-saving, on-demand fountains, but locals resist such efforts. Bring a water bottle and fill up at one of these for free. Using our world travel planner, Turin attractions like I toretti can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • A very nice little fountain that is supposed to exude some special water. God knows? Anyway it looks nice. I would boil it first. Not as nice as some Fountains in Italy
