Collegiata di Nostra Signora Assunta, Triora

The collegiate church of Triora is a testimony of the ancient medieval village. Further renovations have been made over the years. Reading the scroll near the entrance door, there are valuable works inside, a pity that I could not admire them because they were closed. It is only open on Sunday mornings while they have masses.

Very impressive church for a relatively small town. Also worth seeing - diagonally opposite - the Oratorio San Giovanni Battista. Both churches are usually closed outside of church services - then please ask for Gabriela (Bar Tüvi), she has the keys. . .
