  • In the historic center of the village, in Piazza Matteotti, there are various important historic buildings. Among these, flanked by the Palazzo Comunale, is the one built by Cardinal Alessandro Oliva, notable citizen of Sassoferrato. Today it is also the seat of the tourist office, where I was able to collect information material on the town. The pink facade is simple. A few steps allow you to reach the entrance decorated by an irregularly shaped terracotta-colored brick arch, flanked by pillars and surmounted by a noble coat of arms. Inside I was able to admire valuable works of art by artists from the Marches from periods between the end of the Middle Ages and the Baroque and many works by engravers from the Marches, created from the sixteenth century to the present day. Worth visiting! I don't prefer exhibitions of this kind, but I can say that I enjoyed this experience.
  • Inside Palazzo Oliva there is the information office for tourists and guides. Present the library, with many titles and genres. A conference and exhibition hall. Great place to get to know the city
