September 1943 Salerno was another world , far from what it is today. God Bless the soldiers who gave their lives at the will of politicians .

Very well maintained. A very sad memorial to many brave young men, but nice to see the respectful way that the cemetery is kept. It is on a main road and there is no parking. Use the road by the side but be careful, it is used by large lorries.
