The lady at the counter has decent English, moreover she's very calm and reassuring. Besides the sorbets, there are a few vegan options, one of which is a Nutella flavour. The price is reasonable, at €2.50 for 2 flavours and €3.50 for 3 flavours. The presentation is very nice, with some decoration (a mini-cone and a plastic spoon) put on top for the extra mile. Outside, the shop has reserved some chairs (no backrest). The texture is consistent between flavours. There's an option to put whipped cream on top, which we didn't put to test.

Don’t let its small size fool you. This is the best ice cream store ever. Tosca and Lucia are extremely warm and welcoming and the ice cream is simply top notch. We ate their ice cream everyday we were in Rome and will definitely come again when we return to Rome. Eat the ice cream sitting in the small benches in front of the store at the stairway for the full experience.
