    As many others, this fort is a victim of modern terrible Italian "reconstruction" way. There is no effort to repair anything or give it historical form, there are only absurd architecture excesses. The fort looked much better, when we visited it 14 years ago.

    Very nice fort with a very welcoming staff. Not a very well known one but worth the visit. Very nice drive up in that area and the views are beautiful.
