It was founded in 967 by judge Gaidolfo, who donated it to S. Maiolo abbot of Cluny. After a period of great splendor, the decline began and was definitively suppressed in 1564. Between various changes of ownership to private individuals it was then restored in 1960 The most interesting part is certainly the fifteenth-century cloister with a very elegant portico and loggias on the upper floor. It currently houses the State Archives. The church, on the other hand, still undergoing renovation, has the facade in Via Rezia
