Chiesa di Santo Stefano, Orvieto

Small church with a single nave restored a few years ago, it houses an image of the Madonna which is highly regarded by the local population. It is practically located along Corso Cavour and is often the venue for one of the Saturday afternoon masses.

However, well-made frescoes are left to the taste and interpretation of the willing tourist who discovers this masterpiece by chance; explanatory panels would be needed to illustrate the history of the place and the surviving frescoes.
