Santuario di Santa Maria del Monte, Nibbiano

Wonderful location on top of the hill, excellent for well-kept picnics. Very clean toilets present (obviously those who use them leave them as found) today 15.8.18 newly arranged lawn, beautiful renovated church like the entire sanctuary. Today you could clearly see the skyscrapers and the cathedral of Milan. Inserted in a wonderful landscape context. To be kept as a precious jewel. I would suggest taking the picnic waste home.

Beautiful church, well maintained with large surrounding spaces, tables, toilet, small space for children and two cute dogs. The view would be fabulous, but the tall trees obscure it partially. The panorama that can be enjoyed along the road to reach the ramp that leads to the final kilometers of the route is splendid (marked by a special sign). From the sign onwards, however, the road becomes steep and unpaved and above all the last kilometer must be covered carefully because there is no space for two cars to pass at the same time. Even very long vehicles could find difficulties in a couple of corners. However, it is worth going there at least once
