Santuario di Nostra Signora del Deserto, Millesimo

1500 in the middle of chestnut woods. Built in 1725 in thanksgiving for an important miracle, a woman walked with her blind son along the road that connects Finale Ligure to Ceva, in front of the sacred effigy the woman began to pray asking for help for her son. The next morning, leaving the son exclaimed "mom how beautiful you are." Here is the great miracle. Already in 1726 there was talk of 5 6 thousand people in attendance during holidays. In 1727 the church was blessed and a crowd of 5,000 attended the first mass. Don't miss it !!!!
