Create an itinerary including Museo Poldi Pezzoli
Redecorated in 19th century with furnishings that coordinate with the paintings, Museo Poldi Pezzoli is the epitome of Italian taste. The private collection showcases artwork from Northern Italian and Flemish masters. Glassworks, ceramics, jewelry, and weaponry also grace the well-appointed rooms. Thirty years before the rooms were redesigned, the palace was rebuilt in the Neoclassical style with an interior English garden. View the rooms and building with a discounted ticket by presenting your ticket at the nearby Museo Teatrale alla Scala. • Small museum with a few interesting exhibits. The building itself is very beautiful and lovely to walk through. They have a small fountain and the base of a beautiful staircase, with a few small fish (they are fed by the staff, so don’t throw any food in the water).
  • I thoroughly love this museum and it’s superb collection of art, glass, armoury and porcelain. For me the paintings are the main reason to see this museum (world class) and the other objects are supporting the experience and understanding of the paintings as contest.
