Le More Bianche, Magliano Alfieri

This is a very small winery and the owner doesn’t speak English but do yourself a favour and work out a way to visit. Hands down the best wine we tried in the region - we preferred it over the Barbaresco and Barolo we tried in other places.

Small wine producer but great wine. My friend and I visited for a wine tasting, the owner was very attentive and spent a lot of time with us. We enjoyed many of his wines and he was happy to talk to us about the production (we are wine geeks). Please be aware that he doesn’t speak English and he produces the wine at his home so it looks like a house (because it is a house) which confused us a little when we were trying to find it. Gorgeous location though!! The tasting was only €10 and the wines ranged from €12 - €20. We bought a variety and I have to say these were my favourite wines even after doing other tasting of the famous wines of the region.
