I have had a number of visits to Castello di Magione with SMOM friends for wine tastings. This pocket castle dates back to 1150 and is currently open to groups. The wine on location represents two other Order of Malta wine estates, Villa Giustiniani and Rocca Bernarda as well as Castello di Magione. All three wine estates have excellent wines and Castello di Magione is a must visit (do book ahead) if you are enjoying a visit to Umbria.
