Cappella San Salvatore, Macra

It was closed, but from the window it is possible to admire the interior

The chapel of San Salvatore just outside the village of Macra, a little gem, recently renovated. The keys to visit it are shared, there are instructions on a window. From the window you lean out to see the interior and you already understand its beauty and the restored paintings. Well maintained, there is a large lawn next to it where you can have a picnic, obviously leaving everything clean. There are no bathrooms. The Maira River passes alongside but the chapel is high above the river.
