Santuario Madonna della Punta, Lake Maggiore

Church of the Madonna del Rosario, also known as "della Punta". At the foot of this sanctuary, where news can be found as early as the 16th century, there is a Madonnina that "looks", gazes at Lake Maggiore in the distance. Easy to access via an iron staircase, unfortunately it is sometimes subject to vandalism. When the level of the lake rises beyond measure, the various rocks present disappear, leaving the Madonnina alone and not reachable from the ground. The Gospel recalls the miracle of Jesus when he walked on water and here sometimes it would help!
