The little church of the Carmine on the lakeside of Luino is beautiful. I'm going to the Carmine! I already said it as a child. The interior is very beautiful and promotes meditation. For those who love art and its history like me, you can look for the news. However, it is what remains of an ancient convent, too bad it would have been fantastic, right next to the lake! The frescoes are remarkable, the staircase that goes up from the avenue to the church is mythical and once seemed to jump into the lake. Then they redid everything and memories of a child remain. If you come to Luino go and visit this church (read the story first) and imagine the avenue below with huge secular plane trees that are no longer there. After all, it is a stone's throw from the center and near the parking lot of the famous historic market.
