It's a beautiful castle/ fortress with a 360 view of Civita Castellana when reaching the top. They didn't speak English so I didn't understand anything. Entrance was free. Guided tour, couldn't roam..... more

Forte Sangallo is a fortress near the historic village of Civita Castellana, in the province of Viterbo. Since December 2014 the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities manages the fort and the national museum inside it through the Lazio museum complex, in these days two precious silver cups are exhibited that were found in the area for various vicissitudes were in Naples .
