  • This Sacro Monte, inserted in the city context of Borgosesia, is truly a small jewel. Dating back to the end of 1600 and well cared for, it enjoys a splendid panoramic position over the Sesia valley and the surrounding mountains. It really deserves a walk.
  • The Montrigone hill is a place rich in history, from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages. Right on the ruins of the castle of the Counts of Biandrate starting from 1631 the local community began to build the church dedicated to the Madonna delle Grazie as an ex voto for the protection it had during the plague of the previous year (the one told by Manzoni). The works ended only in 1700 when the cult of the Madonna of superimposed that of St. Anne. The interior is rich above all in statues made by the Ferro brothers to tell the story of the Virgin's life but it is not always open to visitors. Outside the Via Crucis composed of 14 chapels (some frescoed by Lorenzo Peracino) certainly deserves to be traveled.
