  • It is the ancient church of Borgo San Leonardo, one of the first Frankish villages in the Novara area, which until the 12th century was still separated from Burgi Mayneri: only during that century did the two settlements weld together, forming today's Borgomanero. It is the best preserved Romanesque church in the city, whose original features have remained almost unchanged to this day, from the masonry, now in blocks of square stone (the facade), now in river pebbles arranged in a herringbone pattern (part of the sides and the semicircular apse). A small jewel to be jealously guarded.
  • Romanesque church built between 1125 and 1150 with frescoes from the 13th to the 16th century. The first restorations began in 1955 returning to the church its original Romanesque structure and rediscovering the frescoes which, in the second restoration of 1984, were restored to their present state. The church, thanks to some volunteers, is open on Saturday from 10 to 12 and from 16 to 18 from April to September.
