I do not recommend group courses. My daughter who is 9 years old and has been skiing since she was 4 and has a previously certified level from other advanced intermediate school (level 5 out of 7) was placed in a group of novice children who could barely snowplow. She found herself last in line because small children are unruly, they passed her and then fell in front of her or forced her to brake. Accustomed to doing the central track in recent years, she found herself making the track easier. In two hours they did the easy track twice and the central twice. At the end of the course a passport (which is finished, tattered, in the trash) was given with 7 levels, according to them my daughter would be at level 2, that is a little more than a beginner. This shows that they did not understand anything about the starting level, nor about the child, since she would even regress since she started from intermediate. I have repeatedly recommended that the child be placed in a course at her level, but these are the results. Never again, money wasted I would like to add an UPDATE in this regard: after a couple of weeks my daughter took another course at Vezzena, upon enrollment they asked me for the level and I declared ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE. She was included in a group with older kids, they did a test to see any shifts that occurred for other students in the group but not for her, she learned a lot and fell like splinters parallel to skis. In the face of the beginner level declared by the master Sergio at the end of the course with the Asiago ski school!
