The third-largest lake in the mountains of South Tyrol, this calm body of water is surrounded by green meadows. With a surface area of 44 hectares (110 acres), the lake is the perfect size for strolling around on the recently established path. According to local legend, the area that the lake covers was once occupied by three farms, which were subsequently destroyed by a flash flood because the farmers refused to help a poor beggar.     Very nice, beautiful landscape, nice stroll to be made in less than one hour around the lake, a couple of restaurants... everything for a pleasant stop
