Follow Nauplion Promenade along the coastline for some for the best views of Nafplio, as well as the Arcadia mountains, Bourtzi fortress, Arvanitia beach, and Palamidi castle. The promenade stretches 1.1 km (0.7) along the along the water from the harbor to Arvanitia Square, directly above the beach of the same name. At one point, marked by a lamppost, the promenade seems to lead straight into the water. Farther along, continue your walk by passing through a tunnel dug straight out of the rock. Several spots along the promenade offer steps down to the sea. Or walk along it until it ends, and take a dip at Arvanitia Beach.     Very nice but nothing to do there for more then half hour to hour very slow walking unless you're a huge fan of promenades.
