Take a walk through shared German and European history at Deutsches Historisches Museum. The museum's massive collection includes 500,000 photographic prints, 50,000 military objects, and 170,000 documents (maps, newspapers, flyers, etc.). It also houses at least 100,000 everyday household objects, medical instruments, and religious articles. The building was erected between 1675 and 1730 to display the country's vast arsenal of cannons. It displays everything from prehistory right up to the present day.
