Place Kleber, the largest square at the center of the city of Strasbourg in the heart of the city's commercial area, was named after French revolutionary general Jean-Baptiste Kléber, born in Strasbourg in 1753. In the square is a statue of Kléber, under which is a vault containing his remains. On the north side of the square is the Aubette (Orderly Room), built by Blondel in 1765-1772.
Located in Strasbourg's historic center (the Grande Île ("Large Island")) the area was classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honor was placed on an entire city center.

RIght in the middle of the town, amazing restoration of the early modernist style imspired by Modrian. Free entrance, small but fantastic to see. Great view of the Place Kleber. Do not miss it.

Nice square , interesting story and great location. Unfortunately the place is used as a not so attractive market for stuff...and not for farmers market which is pushed aside to a back street. No shade and 2 many cars and others vehicles

Very cool place, there's a lot of shopping places, and the atmosphere of the place is a vibe with a lot of things happening there, furthermore there are some water fountain during summer. Really cool !
