It was during those early days that Soutard first began implementing the method of planting vineyards in rows. While it's natural today, 300 years ago it was less common. Visitors can tour the vineyard and castle, and taste some of its more popular wines. There's also an opportunity to learn about cooking with wine. We visited this lovely vineyard on our travels in France. It’s truly pretty. We did the guided tour that was hassle-free to book. We didn’t need prior reservation unlike some of the other vineyards...

Melodie, our sommelier, was our guide for the day and a very friendly & informative one at that. We did the Grand Cru Classe Experience (35€), which was a private tasting of 3 wines and a tour of the facility. The tour was easily booked through email (the team at Chateau Soutard was responsive by email and phone). They went over their way to make the tasting possible for us and fun. Thank you once again!
