Discover the lifestyle of another time at Hotel Le Vergeur Museum, a cozy home that is one of the oldest civil buildings in Reims. Dating back to the thirteenth century, the home has early twentieth century décor and art. You can view an exceptional collection of wood engravings by Albrecht Dürer, including "The Apocalypse" and "Great Passion." First and second floors of the museum take you into the rooms of Hugues Krafft, who donated the buildings and private collections for you to view, including items related to smoking, dining, kitchen utensils, and his office. Great tour! Available in English if you ask beforehand. Very interesting house, with rooms containing furniture from all over the world, and a garden full of doorways and doors. Very unique.

We spent a lovely afternoon at this incredible museum and garden in Reims. We were given a very warm welcome by Valentin, who explained lots of things about the house and garden, and who organised an English- speaking guide. The house is very authentic, with lots of the items left just as they were when the owner lived here. Our tour was so very informative, delivered by a chap named Aurélien, who also speaks in perfect English. We really love it when people take this much pride in their work. This is a must- do attraction in beautiful Reims.
