Champagne G. Tribaut, Hautvillers

Visited in 2019 on a quick champagne tasting overnight from Brussels with my sister and mother in law. We visited 2 champagne houses and 1 tasting room and all 3 of us found our favorite of the get away here at G. Tribaut. Picturesque view of the fields, beautiful facility, we were served by one of the owners (3rd generation family run business) and chatted easily. If you are in the Champagne region and looking to do some tasting…stop looking…go here. Plan to stay a bit to order a glass or bottle of your favorite after your tasting and leave room in your luggage to take at least a bottle or two home. Bonus, they will ship to the US (1/2 case minimum). My husband surprised his mother and I with 2 & 4 bottles for Christmas 2021.

Family owned vineyard with beautiful mountain top tasting room. The view is incredible. We loved the Blanc de Blanc wine. The business is very clear that the purpose of a tasting is to pick out wine to buy- we enjoyed our visit and left with a bottle. Definitely worth a stop. You won’t find a more beautiful place.
