After reading the reviews, which were not always positive, I wanted to visit the zoo myself. The infrastructure is indeed outdated and the plexiglass urgently needs to be replaced. The information signs are also due for an update. and some animals are still in a small pen. Still, I had the strong impression that the zoo is making a lot of effort to improve accommodations. I think the animals were well cared for. They all looked very healthy and got a diverse meal. They all looked very relaxed. And there were a lot of babies (which I think is a good sign, since depressed animals don't breed as easily). We had a fantastic day at the zoo and enjoyed the wide range of animals and the beautiful weather. That's why I thought it was important to leave a positive review. If it's good, that can also be said.

Poor enclosures unsuitable for large game. Very sad looking elephant, who looked to be on its own. Tigers, lions and panthers look imprisoned. The enclosures for the lemurs were decent. They would be better focusing on the birds, farm animals, lemurs and meerkats.
