Create an itinerary including Moet et Chandon
One of the world's largest and most prominent of champagne producers, Moet et Chandon was established in 1743 by Claude Moët. Dom Pérignon, acquired in 1930 from Mercier Champagne, is vintage champagne that is only made in the best year of harvested grapes with 60 percent Chardonnay and 40 percent Pinot Noir grapes.

Today this vineyard and winery owns more than 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres) of land and annually produces approximately 26,000,000 bottles of champagne. This winery is owned under the label Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) and holds a Royal Warrant to supply champagne to Queen Elizabeth II.

You can tour Moët & Chandon’s historic buildings and subterranean labyrinth of cellars, the largest in the Champagne region, spanning 28 km (17.4 mi). Advanced bookings for the tour are necessary and include either one flute tasting of champagne or two with the upgraded tour. • Thoroughly enjoyed discovering the Heritage and History of Champagne making in this world renowned establishment. The tour was very instructive and worth our time. We especially like the Imperial Rosé tasting at the end. And thanks to Letizia for her clear and knowledgeable explanations. A must see/taste!
  • Great experience of wine testing, €35 per person including 2 glasses of Moët classic and rose imperial champagne. Wonderful tour to amazing wine cellar. Tour took about 1 hr 30 mins. Recommend if you want to have a great experience and know more about the history of Moët champagne.
