Parc des Roches, Bourmont

We walked past the sign that indicated the entrance, but that was more due to our Google maps skills. As it was one of little things to do close to our hotel, we went to Parc des Roches in the rain. It didn’t disappoint, even while we were dripping wet. The little paths were slippery. Lovely nature, some ruins that weren’t really ruins. We had a great time, when you’re close it’s a nice place to pass some time, maybe picknick (if it’s sunny....)

For some people hiking is just a physical exercise and a numbers game where you are expected to just collect steps taken or meters covered. I find this approach boring. If you are like me, Parc des Roches is the spot for you. Combine your hiking with discovery, and make it a most enjoyable journey. Plenty to see and experience on your hike through this Parc.
