At Kongens Have, walk the Knight's Path, a lime-tree avenue which intersects the Lady's Path near the center of the park. King Christian IV established a pleasure garden in the Renaissance style in 1606, which was redesigned in the Baroque style in the 18th century. The oldest and most visited park in the city features statues, monuments, and several historical buildings, including Rosenborg Barracks, home to the Royal Guards. Look for the oldest sculpture in the garden of a lion with a humanoid face which is tearing apart a horse. The early 17th century sculpture most likely illustrates a Persian legend about the battle between light and darkness. An oasis in the middle of beautiful Copenhagen! The King's Garden is a beautiful park all around the year, since it's well taken care of, thus plenty of people visit daily. It is located in central Copenhagen, it is also right next to Rosenborg Castle. It has a couple information points that take you through the history and the functions of the royal gardens. I recommend visiting it in fall because the trees are changing colors and it’s a beautiful autumn scene around this time. The entire neighborhood around the gardens is also quite nice and a nice add on are the small coffee spots at the entrance, where you can grab a cup before or after strolling though the park.

Beautiful garden / park , abundance of green in the city . Well maintained and very clean. Lots of family and children playing. Super relaxing and perfect for a stroll or walk your dogs. Love it on a sunny day.
