Spot remarkable blue lizards as you stroll along winding paths at Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Take the trail that circumnavigates the park and keep an eye out for rare, striking blue iguanas, who wander through the gardens in all their iridescent glory. Almost extinct 20 years ago, the iguanas now thrive in the gardens thanks to a project to restore their population to safe numbers. As you meander through the colorful gardens, stop at the lake to admire rare aquatic birds, native to the region. After all that, grab some refreshments at the tea rooms and take in the wonderful park views. Beautiful gardens, helpful staff. A loveky way to spend a few hours in Grand Cayman. The Iguana refuge is a must do. Well worth the money.

This place is a great escape! If you’re into quiet, flowers, peaceful scenic walks. Perfect if your done with lying on the beach all day. Great splash park for young kids. Good family picnic day. Clean and classy welcoming center/gift shop. I’d come often if I lived here but unfortunately don’t.

I love botanic gardens and this one doesn't disappoint. Peaceful walk through with beautiful flowers and nature. We saw wild Cayman Parrots wild blue iguanas as well as other native birds. If you like a little hike with a beautiful garden/park all around you, this is the place for you. The staff was helpful, friendly and the gift shop had some of the best souvenirs we found on the island.
