  • An excellent park for a good walk, a great mix of traditional park, gardens, play areas, and duck pond. Plenty of seating. The bandstand and glacial boulder are interesting. The best bit is the large natural nature reserve to the back of the park. Excellent for dog exercise.
  • I've always enjoyed the arboretum, and over the years I think its improved. They've installed a small cafe, easy access toilets, friendly staff. It's a lovely day out. Lots of space to run, dog friendly ( though some of the dog owners, and some of the people in general are horrid) gorgeous flowers, nice large lake and wildlife. It is lovely
