Swim among the ruins of antique marble columns and feel the "champagne waters" bubbling against your skin at Cleopatra Pools, a World Heritage Site. This pool was shaped by an earthquake in the 7th century BCE when massive marble columns of the nearby temple of Apollo tumbled into a spring. Legend has it that Marc Anthony built a marble portico above the spring, which he gave to Cleopatra. Soak in the warm healing waters embedded in the famous "cotton fortresses" of minerals. Amenities include bathrooms, rental lockers, and a restaurant. Bring your own towel. The Galloway people of history, even more so they say it was from Cleopatra... I didn't get in, Muuita gente, I felt dirty with so much musho taking off in the water, although there was someone catando, and still pays the part, same value of the park entrance (50liras)..

Absolutely stunning area and the pool was so warm we didn’t want to get out! Kids are free but still require a ticket and arm bands are advised for non swimmers as some areas require two hands to steady yourself which can’t be done carrying a small child. A must visit when in turkey , well worth the travel ❤️🇹🇷
I would not recommend to visit this pool it is dirty yes it looks very beautiful from outside and on the temperature of 39 degrees out you're hoping that you will chill and cool in the water but now this water is very hot and mineral they say this water can help people with some diseases
