City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Galleria Sabauda. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Forte di Bard (in Bard), Orta San Giulio (Lake Orta & San Giulio Island) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), get engrossed in the history at Museum of the Risorgimento, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October in Turin, expect temperatures between 58°F during the day and 51°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
