In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Mon): make a trip to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, then don't miss a visit to Piazza del Duomo, and finally contemplate the long history of Castello Sforzesco. On the next day, explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery, see where the action happens at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro), and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Il Cenacolo.

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
