In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 20th (Sat), take a stroll through Navigli District, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, and then admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Riga, Latvia to Milan is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also take a bus; or drive. Traveling from Riga to Milan, you'll gain 1 hour due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Riga in May, expect Milan to be a bit warmer, temps between 27°C and 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Sun) early enough to go by car to Genoa.

Once the most important harbor in the Mediterranean Sea, Genoa has a long history as a rich and powerful trade center in northern Italy.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): wander the streets of Proloco Maris Boccadasse, then get to know the fascinating history of Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi a Nervi, and then kick back and relax at Baia del Silenzio. On your second day here, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cattedrale di San Lorenzo - Duomo di Genova, then take in the waterfront at Old Port (Porto Antico), then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Acquario di Genova, and finally stroll through Parchi di Nervi.

Getting from Milan to Genoa by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 24°C in May, and nighttime lows around 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to take a train to Cinque Terre.

Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): get to know the fascinating history of Cinque Terre Trails, then hike along Trail 531 Riomaggiore to Manarola, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Santa Margherita di Antiochia Church. Take a train from Genoa to Cinque Terre in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or drive. In May in Cinque Terre, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 16°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Bergamo.
