City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Explore hidden gems such as Via Roma and Castello di Verres. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Sentiero panoramico lungo l'Orrido di Pre-Saint-Didier (in Pre-Saint-Didier), Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, Piazza Emile Chanoux, &more) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Castello Sarriod de La Tour, learn about winemaking at Azienda Agricola Franco Mondo, take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis, and get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

To find ratings, maps, more things to do, and other tourist information, read our Turin trip maker website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, plan for daily highs up to 69°F, and evening lows to 58°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
