A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at River Rafting & Tubing and Lago d'Arpy. Venture out of the city with trips to Verres Castle (in Verres), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Lago Blu (in Breuil-Cervinia). There's much more to do: stroll through Parc Animalier d'Introd, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, explore the fascinating underground world of Grotta di Bossea, and snap pictures at The Roman Aqueduct-Bridge of Pont d'Ael.

If you are flying in from Slovakia, the closest major airports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, daytime highs in Turin are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
